And the command prompt gives debug information, so when something crashes you know why it crashed and can proceed to fixing it yourself, instead of sending in a fucking bug report and hoping microshaft releases a patch to fix your problem among the billion in line. Linux is good for servers because it’s free and stable idiot. That’s why you don’t see windows servers hardly because of stability issues or (it suuucks). When I use a modern version of Windows (XP or 7), I have no problems. No blue screens. No crashes. No viruses. Software has bugs, of course (like Firefox), but the OS itself is stable.
When I use Linux: Nothing but problems. Nothing works right out of the box. The entire machine locks up randomly. The touchpad stops working for no reason and then starts again later. It’s not compatible with any external hardware.
Ubuntu is the best Linux distro so far, but it’s still a useless clusterfuck.

The “Linux is safer because of root” argument is so stupid. Programs can still DELETE ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS. It can wipe out your whole home directory. That’s a hell of a lot worse than a program that had root access and mucked around with system files. Everyone just enters their root password and installs stuff without thinking about it anyway, or copies and pastes arbitrary code from Ubuntu Forums without understanding what it does, so the point is moot anyway.

Fix PulseAudio, fix hibernation, fix black windows with Compiz, fix compatibility with webcams and mobile phones, fix the Wi-Fi crashes.
